That evening friends and relatives gathered for a reception at the Delta Phi Kappa house in Logan. The newlywed couple plan to visit the home of the grooms parents on Sunday, and invite friends to join them in the afternoon. Mary graduated from Sky View High school in 1969 and from USU this year with a major in early childhood development and elementary education. She also graduated LDS seminary and Institute. Kent graduated from Box Elder High school and LDS seminary. He completed one year of study at USU before serving an LDS mission in Berlin, Germany. He returned to USU for another year before entering the armed services. Currently he is a senior in mathematics at USU scheduled to graduate next year. He is affiliated with Delta Phi Kappa. Open house to honor former city mayor An open house to honor Ruel M. Eskelsen on his 80th birthday will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, at the Brigham City Community center, 24 North 3rd West, from 3 to 5 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Ruel M. Eskelsen, former mayor of Brigham City, was born in Mantua, Oct. 8, 1893. He student body president. He studied electrical engineering for four years and owned and operated his own electrical contracting business.
