Ray Frost, newly-electe- d secretary, stated that the title would be more accurate to the function of the organization since it represents many volunteer associations as well as government agencies. Under the leadership of newly-electe- d chairman Robert Sherwood, the group then prepared a statement of purpose: 1) coordination of services to people, 2) discussion of broad social concerns, 3) public education in social concerns. reasons for Citing reorganization of the council, the officers' pointed out that at the time of its founding; it supplied necessary dination of agencies coor- and volunteer group efforts.
