Box Elder and Logan both fell in the Class AAAA state classic Tuesday, making it a clean sweep for the local circuit which saw Sky View and Roy get dumped in other opening-roungames on Monday. The Bobcats took a surprise lacing at the hands of d 76-5- 5 bowing, Box was Roy to West. fell behind at while Olympus 77-5- Elder and eventually halftime by decision to dropped an East and Logan, playing tough but not good enough, lost to 40-2- 2 81-5- 7 Ogden, at 2:30 p.m. and tangles with Viewmont in a 6:30 p.m. clash this evening in other consolation action. West BE races face new snag The Salt Lake Great Cross Country, off-aga- scheduled April 5 in western Box Elder county, has seemingly run into another snag. 14-1- County commissioners Tuesday said some landowners in the race area who reportedly had given their permission, are saying they gave no such permission. To resolve the matter, a meeting has been called for March 20 in the courthouse, a session to which landowners and race sponsors have been invited, in addition to Bureau of Land Management representatives.
