Police Chief Jay Christensen said the department is pleased to particpate in this community program, and commended the local organization on its idea to further traffic safety in the community. Each month the Police Department will select a woman driver who demonstrates safe driving conduct, driving courtesy and alertness. Some lucky lady will undoubtedly panic when she is to find only wrong, that she is being given a commendation for her excellent driving. The award recipients driving record and current driving performance will determine her eligibility for this honor. Traveling to Last Chance, Ida. for fun in the snow were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Fullmer, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Thorpe, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whitaker, and Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Nobles. They loaded their snowmobiles up and drove to Last Chance where they stayed at the quaint Albenhause. From there they ride over Reas went on a Pass into West Yellowstone and back, on one day. The rest of the time they took shorter side trips in the area. They report a lot of fun and viewing some breathtaking scenery. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bosley are back from a ten-da- y trip that took them 2400 miles and from Arizona to California in their travels. They traveled first to Mesa,"' Ariz. where they visited with ' their son and daughter-in-laMr. and Mrs. Bruce Bosley and children Scott, Diana, Mechell, ' Melanie, and Tammy. They were so happy to be on hand when their only grandson, Scott, was baptised. While in Mesa they also visited with former Brighamite, the Rev. Earl Fox, who is now retired. He sent regards with the Bosleys to all his Brigham City friends. Leaving Mesa they traveled to Monterey Park, Calif, where they visited another son and Mr. and Mrs. daughter-in-laEdward Bosley and children Denice and Lynette. They spent one day in San Diego and visited the Japanese Gardens. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine E. Richards, 75 North AAain, Willard, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Dorothy Dee to Terry Braegger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen G. Braegger of Willard. The couple will exhange wedding vows April 20 in the Logan LDS temple. They will greet guests at the Willard LDS ward cultural hall that evening. Miss Richards is a student at Box Elder High school. Prospective bridegroom Braegger is a graduate of Box Elder High school and is companied by Denice Ashby at the piano. Mrs. George Francis would like the friends of her mother, former Brighamite Mrs. Leila Paustian to know that she has been transferred from St. Benedicts hospital to the Thomas Dee Memorial hospital, room 406, for additional therapy. Mrs. Paustian has been hospitalized following a stroke. Smith family in Loveland, Colo. While there Mrs. Jensen attended some of the high school basketball tournament games and watched her granddaughter, Cindy, perform. Cindy is head cheerleader for the junior varsity group. It was also a thrill to be there when the Smiths were notified that their son, Jeff, who is a senior at Loveland High school, will be listed in Whos Who of School American High Students" for 1972-7- 3 school year. This is the second year that Jeff has received this recognition. Last Friday and Saturday the Wendell Nebekers were happy to have their and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Higginson and children Paul and Susan and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Taylor of Boise visit them. Paul and Susan stayed with their grandparents while the Higginsons and Taylors attended meetings in Ogden. They were all dinner guests of the Nebekers on Saturday. Brigham City visitors last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Keller and son Scott of Soda Springs, Ida. They were houseguests of her mother Mrs. Mary Dawn Huggins.
