Stowell, North Ogden, in marriage with Elder Joel Richards officiating. Following the ceremony the bridegrooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Stowell, hosted a wedding breakfast at the Chuck ORama. The couple was honored that evening at a reception hosted by the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Nebeker, in the Willard LDS ward cultural hall. For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of silk organza with a standup collar and sheer buff sleeves trimmed with lace and a chapel train. The front of the dress was enhanced with lace inserts. Regardless of circumstances, Peach Days will soon be here and to all of us who call Brigham City home, it means something special. Ill admit things have changed during the years about how we celebrate it but Im still hoping to see a few old friends around during the celebration who remember that this is a good time to go home and see whats going on. The husky little guy arrived weighing 11 pounds seven ounces. They are going to call him Todd A. The other children in the family are Michael, Jill, Jeffery, Jann and Timothy. Sharing grandparent honors are Mr. and Mrs. J. Desmond Christensen of this city and Mr. and Mrs. Merwin Koford, Ogden. He also has two Mrs. Margaret Robinette and Mrs. Anna Christensen both of this city. The R.M. Haynies are delighted with the arrival of their new baby boy, born on w Left Tuesday Mrs. Boyd Laver, formerly of 5 left Mantua, Sept. for a 30 day tour of Europe. Traveling with Mrs. Laver will be her mother, Mrs. W.A. McMain, her sister Mrs. Lynn Young, and Mrs. Evelyn Jeaneen has 4 yrs. experience and Arlene has 8 yrs. experience and Rudy all of Salt Lake City. They plan on stopping in New York for two days then going to London to begin the tour. Among the things they will see will be Scotland and Wales, England, and Holland. They will go by train to Bonn, Germany where they will leave for a river cruise down the Rhine. They will also visit the Black Forest, Baden Baden and Frankfurt. When Mrs. Laver returns to Utah she will join her husband and daughters Lisa and Lori in Holliday where the family moved on Sept. 1. ' Mo.
