Leaving here on Saturday morning were Clayton and JoAnne Morrill and children Gary, Tresa and Heidi. They motored to Salt Lake City to spend the day sightseeing at the Hogle zoo and other points of son-in-la- there. interest. They traveled to Salem to the home of Clayton's mother Mrs. Annie Morrill. They spent the night there and visited with a Leo sister and brother-in-laand Carol Twitchel and family. They returned home on Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. James Moore Mr. and Mrs. George Richards and son Todd of Brigham City and Gilbert Rowe traveled to the Sinks area in Logan canyon last weekend. Horse Trainer Fred Davis is a former of this community and should be commended in his achievements as a trainer of horses. He trained the filly, Shamill who will be eligible to run in the futurity races at the Box Elder county race track and at Elko, Nev. Verlie Jeppesen joined the family group at Rupert on Monday afternoon. She joined the Davises, her husband, son and daughter-in-laRoger and Candy Jeppesen and children Ginger and Taffy of Boise, Idaho. The group spent a delightful holiday there, staying in a motel and attending the races held on Monday and Tuesday. Mrs. Rowe, Margaret daughter Beckey and Mrs. Ada Walker motored to Green resident Camp Out The group spent Saturday night camping out in the area. Supper and an outdoor fire atadded to the mosphere. The men cut firewood and scouted the surrounding area. The ladies spent an enjoyable time gathering pine cones, rocks and rocks. Breakfast cooked outside, loading wood and a campfire early Sunday morning concluded the groups activities. Don Walker returned home from duty with the U.S. Army reserves after being notified of the illness of his father. He was serving at Fort k Collins, Colo., on a training maneuver with his unit. Makes Connection Roy Christensen, who suffered an injury from a fall off a roof in a Brigham City construction area, was erroneously reported to be in the McKay hospital in Ogden. He is in the St. Benedicts hospital and has undergone surgery there, according to relatives there. He is the husband of the former Connie Rader. Patrolman Earl said a 1969 sports coupe driven by Roy B. Norma Bosley returned home d on Friday from a vacation trip to Balboa Beach, Calif. She accompanied and daughter, her Gordon and LaRey Peterson and children Lisa, Kerrie and, Christie of Brigham City leaving here on Tuesday. The group traveled by car to spend a delightful time at the beach and at the home of Normas sister Mrs. Gladyse Ray. A trip to Disneyland was enjoyed by the Petersons. Mrs. Bosley was joined by a son and family, Charles and Shirley Elsdood of San Diego on Saturday and Sunsay. She traveld to Sierra Madre to the home of a son, Lee Elswood and family. A boat ride on the night of July 4, on the bay to the Newport Dunes was enjoyed by the Petersons and Norma. They viewed the fireworks and the spectacular sight of boats on the water around them. Cub Pack 217 played ball in the Corinne City park June 23. The group assembled at noon with picnic lunches and spent an enjoyable afternoon. They left to visit with the Delbert Alvey family in Lewiston on Monday. A steak fry was enjoyed by the members of the Corinne Second LDS ward Mutual Married group the last of June. They had planned a canyon party but changed their plans due to the heavy rain that fell that evening. The group gathered at the ward cultural hall to broil steaks that each individual brought on a charcoal grill. The cooking was done outside the rear door and took considerable time to cook 30 steaks. Investigation of the accident was continuing, according to the officer. An intersection crash Friday at 6:43 p.m. at First North and Main resulted in a total of $200 damage to each vehicle involved. The wreck happened when a car driven by Lawrence Lee Geisler, 605 North Second West, eastbound on First North, made a left turn onto Main street, striking a pickup truck driven by Juralene Miller Anderson, 461 Highland, Patrolman Earl explained.
