DAINES, a native of Maple-to- n, Idaho was affiliated with Bank of America, prior to joiiv ing in 1930, Thatcher Brothers Banking company in Logan, Utah, which later became the Logan office of First Security Bank. He was assistant manager of First Securitys Magna office during 1936-3and in 1938 to 1945 was manager. He became assistant manager at Brigham City in 1945, and later was promoted to assistant vice president. For two years Daines was chairman of Box Elder countys Red Cross drive, and he directed six war bond drives in Brigham City during World War II. He has held several leadership positions with the Church of of Latter-da- y Jesus Christ Saints. Prior to entering banking he attended LDS college in Salt Lake City. He has also been a student at Weber college, and he has completed courses with the American Institute of Banking. Mr. and Mrs. Daines, the former Evelyn Lowe, have four sons. The Daines reside at 183 North Tenth East street, Brigham City. FAVERO is in charge of real estate loans at the Brigham City office. Joining First Security nine years ago, Favero has been at the Brigham City office for the past year. He previously was with the bank in Ogden, serving in the Timeway department, and real estate loan de rl'f J. Managing the Brigham City bank is J. Leo Nelson, First Security vice president. Other vice presidents are Morris W. Glover and D. . F. (Frank) Wight. R. K. Daines and Robert Favero are assistant vice presidents, and Lenora Romer is assistant manager. Other senior personnel at the Brigham City bank are Norman R. Neisen, Timeway department, and J. Delos Thompson, operations. , VICE PRESIDENT NELSON, who has been in the banking ' business since 1.107, has a long record of outstanding communhe ity service. During 1960-6- 1 served as president of Brigham Citys Rotary club, and for five years previously he was the club's treasurer. For nine years he has served on the Rotary clubs board of directors. He has also. been president of the Knife and Fork club of Box Elder county. He has served several terms on the board of directors of. Box Elder chamber of commerce. Throughout World War II Nelson headed Box Elder countys organization for the sale M of United States war bonds. He has many times served on Red Cross and similar type committees. For several years, Nelson was key banker for Box Elder county, and he has been chairman of the agriculture committee of the Utah Bankers association. He has held a number of positions of leadership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. As a young man, he completed studies in accounting and commercial law at LDS Business college in Salt Lake City. He and Mrs. Nelson1 (Claire) reside at 540 South First East street, Brigham City. They have a daughter and son. GLOVER is a graduate of Box Elder High school, and he attended Utah State University, lie First Securitys joined R. K.
