Ruth sister of the groom was also a bridesmaid, and a niece, Pam Nelsen was flower girl. They carried bouquets of poinsettias mounted on smaller fans than those in the brides bouquet. Best man was Stanley Stoner, while ushers were Bob Smoot, Lyle Young and Bill Smoot. Those in charge of serving were Miss Karla Reay, Miss Shirley Ann Bott, and Mrs. Lola Carter. Gifts were cared for by Mrs. Karen Smoot, Kathy Young, Ned Young and Kevin Nelsen. Miss Doriene Smoot, cousin of the bride, was at the guest book. The couple honeymooned to Rdno and Lake Tahoe and are now making a home in Corinne. To be eligible for this nomination, a woman must be a successful mother, as evidenced by tfie character and achievements of her individual children, and active in a religious body of any church. The first in a series of stud ies on social consciousness to be presented by the United Church Women will be held on Ftiday, Jan. 11, with the topic being "Theology and Mission. Studies will be based on the book, "Who Caras, and will encompass comprehensive studies of such problems as youth, aged, retardation and mental disturbances.
