The tiny tots played games, enjoyed supper and were delighted, but surprised with the unexpected arrival of Santa Claus. Miniature canes went to the following: Ned Young, Val and Kathy Young, Kaylee Richardson, Diane Collmar, DeDell and Michelle Loosli, Tootie Lawren and Debbie Green, Terri Weight, Scott Whitaker, Johnny Moore and Mariyn and Diane Marshall. Many lovely gifts were presented to the excited guest of honor. The third annual Christmas worship will be held at 11 a. m. Christmas morning, Dec. 25, in the Community Presbyterian church of Brigham City. This year the service will be the occasion for public reception into communicant membership in the church of 11 Intermountain students. The following four will be confirmed: Mary Ann Parrish, Elsie Mary Talker, Ida Tsosie and Alice Teller. Seven will be baptized upon confession of faith, including Della Mae Cly, Zonnie Cly, Mae Tso FowAnn Joe, Mary K. Reverend Hershey Julien ler, Lillie NEWS John, Pauline Plummer, and 7 Box will deliver the sermon at Helen Fannie Yazzie. Pastor Hershey Julien, minister Presbyterian of the church, is entitled, "The Manhood of the Master. This will be the third of a series of Christmas sermons de livered by Rev, Julien on the incarnation. Offering for Intermountain Work The special Christmas offering to be received at the services will go to help meet a 1959 budget of $1900 which Utahs Protestant churches are undertaking to raise in support of the combined Protestant program of Interreligious education at mountain school. This is the well known work headed by the Reverend Augusta Jackley of the National Council of Churches, which will soon move to new headquarters in the $75,000 Protestant Center at Seventh South and Fifth East in Brigham City. Mrs. Win. D. Hollist directed tlie 45 member choir with . Mrs. Norman Lichtenstein as accompanist and Mrs. Harold Sycamore as narrator. Immediately following the presentation choir members and their partners enjoyed a social in the Relief society room. Other special guests included the ward bishopric. Prior to the presentation, choir members presented Mrs. Hollist and Mrs. Lichtenstein with lovely floral corsages. The diversion of the evening was listening to a tape recording of the program made by Mrs. Max Bott. In charge of the social was Max Bott, president, with Mrs. Clara Tillotson, Mrs. LaRue Fishier and Mrs. Helen Jensen. Junior Misses of the chair served refreshments from a serving table cleverly adorned with pop corn Christmas trees. Corinne Navy man Is Aboard USS Eversole ' George Gallegos, seaman, apprentice, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gallegos of RFD 1, Corinne, is serving aboard the destroyer USS Eversole, operating out of San Diego, Calif. During the latter part of October, members of the Eversoles crew attended special technical schools in San Diego, training in phases of combat readiness in preparation for a near future deployment to te Western Pacific.
