He was pronounced dead by Sheriff Warren W. Hyde who was summoned along with Deputy Stanley May. The unidentified bather told Hyde he discovered Brice after the elderly man failed to come out of the enclosed pool after a reasonable time. Hyde theorized that Brice was overcome by the hot water and became unable to rise from the pool. He said ther would be no autopsy. The Layton man had driven to the springs for the purpose of easing an arthritic condition. No one had accompanied him. The body was taken to Harold B. Felt Mortuary in Brigham City and later shipped to Lay ton. Brice had no immediate relatives living in Utah, Hyde reported. BETWEEN --YEAR BAUBAINS x: U-8- 4v s .f'' it. A.W T fi , & Mti ir.
