Show 9 Logan Artists Close Exhibit dt Brigham An exhibition of paintings by Logan artiste has just closed at the Brigham City Art Center, and has received favorable reception here, according to Mrs. Oneta J. Thorne, chairman of National Art Week in Brigham Cky, and sponsor of the exhibit. Artists represented were Harrison Groutage, Jessie Larson, H. Reuben Raynolds, Everett Thorpe and Gaell Lindstrom, all ofc the USU fine arts staff, and Mrs. Kate Haskins, Mrs. Wesley Sehaub, Mrs. Darrell Crockett, Mrs. S. C. The award is given annually to honor a Box Elder county farmer who Is deemed outstanding in his agricultural efforts. Miles Cap Ferry of West was honored last year, and for is acting as director-membe- r the event. Principal speaker of the evening will be J. Howard Maughn, assistant dean of agriculture at Utah State University. He will be accompanied by one of the foreign students now studying at the Logan school. County Agent A.
