The Nativity The Box Elder County National Farm Loan Association has just received $3,614 as its share of the $195,374 of earnings distributed by the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley to its stock-- ' holders. This announcement was made by Harry Drew, secretary-manage- r who said that this represents a two percent dividend on capital stock outstanding Nov. 30 and that it is the second dividend paid by the bank this year. He added that these funds will be passed on by the association to its members the farmers and ranchers in the area who use Land Bank long-tercredit interests thus reducing their costs. Drew explained that the Box Elder County National Farm Loan association is cooperatively owned by its member-borrower- s and is one of the 48 associations in Caifornia, Arizona, Nevada, and Utah, which own all of the banks capital stock and through which the banks loans are made and serviced. Drew stated that so far this year the Box Elder County National Farm Loan Association has made loans to 56 farmers in this territory in the total amount of $306,923. He said that the Land Banks outstanding loan volume has increased $18 million over a year ago at Nov. 30 had reached an all time high of nearly $168 million.
