The style and color of the building blends well with the community surroundings and adds beauty to the downtown area. Convenient customer parking is available adjacent to the I i Historic Time Capsule I Clearfield State Bank is preparing at time capsule to be implanted in the foundation of the new home office at 180 South State Street. During the open house, Friday, October 14, Bank Officials will conduct a special historical ceremony at 5 p.m. and seal the time capsule in the East entrance stone. The community is invited to submit historical material and students from Hillfield, South Clearfield, Wasatch, Pioneer Elementary schools and North Davis Junior High and Clearfield High School are gathering historic memorabilia including photographs, newspaper articles of local and national interest and other items of historical building. The substantial investment in the new home office building evidences the faith the officers and directors have in the continued growth of the area. Bank President, Harold Steed, says, We look to the future in new surroundings with confidence. Contemporary Design The bank's two story, twelve thousand square foot structure will serve Clearfield area- residents with winseven inside teller windows and six drive-u- p dows. The structure features the most modern security arrangements including two large vaults for records, documents, deposits and other - i ImiI immui The interior reflects the contemporary intent of the design yet maintains a sense of the traditional with the use of warm colors in familiar, yet updated patterns. Most of the floor covering is carpeting, but the lobby properly uses brick plate tile that extends up the front of the teller counters with carpeting attached to the soft round comers. Most furnishings feature the contemporary with the desks emphasizing clean straight lines and the guest chairs providing a soft contrast of curvilinear lines. significance.
