SECOND District Judge J. Duffy Palmer will sentence Dennis Loveless, 670 E. 7570 South, Midvale on the conviction charge which carries a maximum penalty of up to 15 years imprisonment, a $10,000 fine, or both. Loveless was convicted of the one count of sexual assault by a six-mejury. The defendant still faces another charge resulting from the same incident. DeWAYNE D. Jay, 244 West 250 North, Kaysville, did not appear at the court, but advised his attorney to enter a written not guilty plea on the three charges which involve alleged instances of the acceptance of gifts while he was employed as the supervisor of buildings and grounds for the Davis County School District. The court clerk said the innocent plea was mailed to the court, although an earlier telephone call from Mr. Jays attorney indicated that the not guilty pkas would be entered.
