CHARLES Edwards introduced the guest speaker, Steve Osborne. Mr. Osborne is a graduate student in geology at Brigham Young University at Provo. He is originally from England and received his bachelors degree from the University in England. HE IS in Utah doing his thesis at BYU on the Wasatph Fault. Bridesmaids were Miss DianaCriddle, Miss Carolyn Criddle and Mrs. Bradley Davidson. THEY wore floor-lengtgowns of rayon polyester daisy print styled with bell sleeves and ties in back. The gowns were in shades of h apricot, yellow, green and blue. They wore picture hats to match their gowns with a spray of daisies on the brim. Each attendant held a nosegay of mums, rose buds, carnations, daisies, straw flowers and baby breath, carrying out the color scheme of apricot, yellow, blue and green with streamers matchine their gowns. and brides The bridegrooms mother chose full length gowns of apricot polyester crepe with pleated bodice and long full sleeves. The bride graduated from The Kiwanis C'ub of Layton at their regular breakfast meeting on Saturday, Sept. 24 heard Gil Moore talk on the NASA space shuttle. Mr. Moore demonstrated the basic mechanics of the space shuttle components. THE shuttle craft and the separate booster rockets are recoverable and reusable. The external fuel tank will not be recoverable for the first few flights. Later on the tanks will be recoverable and reusable as components of an eventual space station. The orbiter will have a crew of seven. The orbiter will stay in space from one orbit to many orbits over about a month. The orbiter is a space truck which will handle a pay load of 65,000 pounds.
