REVENUE TAX ON PER- ENGAGED IN AN AMUSEMENT BUSINESS WITHIN THE CORPORATE OF FARMINGTON for automobile S Far-SON- S S managing or controlling,, alone or in conjunction with PREAMBLE recreation, or amusement! facilities or equipment,! including others, in whole or in part, as principal, agent, officer, need for increased revenues to fulfill the Citys respon- sibility to provide additional fire fighting equipment and other public safety equipment and personnel services to company, partnership, other necessary corporate and WHEREAS, the City has previously enacted an or- imposing an occupa- tion tax upon persons engaged in an amusement business, ordinance was enacted for the purpose of raising revenue to be used for helping to fund the Citys services to residents and to visitors to ' the City; and has the WHEREAS, City numerous (iii) Admission or cover charge at any place where there is furnished a public performance where payment of such amount entitles the: patron thereof to be present during any portion of such performance.
