But now thanks' to the efforts of a couple of, local track coaches, the athletes will have an extended season. COACHES Bob Ashdown and Mitch Willey are forming their abilities. Coach Ashdown, Viewmont and Willey, Bountiful, have indicated that other area high school track coaches are doing the same thing along the Wasatch Front which will give the competitor a variety of meets to compete in. THERE WILL be competition in age group divisions for boys of the junior high and senior high school age. Some meets may even be set up to include the elementary school kids. Meets will be on Saturday evenings through June and July against other clubs in the area. Exact times and locations will be given at pract- ices. THERE WILL be one club practice during the week with their on the other days. The first practice was June 1 and the others are planned each week. Cost for joining the club is $5 which includes a club for the participant.
