Michael LeRoy Benner, of Vernal, formerly of St. Joseph, Mo, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 17. Mike was bom August 20, 1930 in St. Joseph, Mo. He was adopted at infancy by Joe Calvin and Edna Irene Williams Benner. Mike was the youngest of eight children. He met his real siblings, three brothers and tour sisters , in the 1960's. Mike married Beverly Lofts on August 2, 1957, in St. Joseph, they were later divorced. He met his wife, Jesse Darlene, in Mesa. Ariz., in 1985 while working construction. They married on June 7, 1991 Gary Horrocks Gary Horrocks (Big Gary) 60, passed assay Nov. II, 2003 at a local medical center. He was bom April 29. 1943 in Neola, to Royal J. and Viola Gagosian Horrocks. He married Blenda Billings, June 4. 1965, in Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was later scaled in the Salt Iake Temple. They raised two sons that were the light of their lives. He lost Blenda to a long battle with cancer in 1995. He mar- in Vernal. ried Sharon McKcachnie in the Ogden Temple in 1995; they were later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Gary owned and operated Big Garys little store across from Poky High for 35 years selling goodies to what he considered all of his family, he loved all of the kids. He was an active member of the Church of Saints. Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y He served a Southern States honorable mission for the LDS Church. Gary loved to fish and hunt; he loved to work in his garden. He loved to help Blenda with her drama productions, of which there were many. He loved to spend time doing whatever with his boys. He is survived by his wife, Sharon McKcachnie Horrocks; children. Gary R. (Shannon) Horrocks of Meridian, Idaho, Troy C. Horrocks of Pocatello, Idaho; stepchildren, Cory (Vickie) Kellogg of Phoenix, Ariz., Brian (Kathy) Merlynn Kellogg of Vernal, (Robert) Bott of West Jordon; 8 Gary Horrocks grandchildren, four sisters, Modena (Berle) Bell, of Vernal, Arlene (Jim) Frost of Richfield; brothers, Howard (Faye) Horrocks of Neola, Garth (Joy) Horrocks of Vernal; brothers-i- n law, Gib Hullinger and Donald Laris of Roosevelt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Blenda Billings Horrocks, his parents, sisters, Mmola Laris and Arake Hullinger. Funeral services will be held at 1 a.m. Nov, 15 at the LDS Cedar Building, 550 W. Mable LaVera Massey Neiberger, age 93, of Vernal, died on Nov. 14, 2003 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo. Mable was bom on Sept. 4, 1910 in Vernal to Lewis Fry (Van) Donnelly Massey and Maybell (May) Glanville Thacker Massey. She married Golda Gleason (Dick) Johnson on July 7, 1934, they later She then married divorced. Fredrick Melvin Wesley (Bud) Neiberger on May 7, 1962. Their marriage was later solemnized on April 25, 1963 in the Manti LDS Temple. Mable was a member of the LDS Church. She was a loved Sunday school teacher, secretary in Primary for several years, and a dedicated v isiting teacher with a 100 percent record until her health failed her. Mable was a strong supporter of the DUP holding many positions including president of her camp. Mable had worked for the U.S. Geological Survey until theoffice moved out of state. She was a top Tupperware saleslady taking many state sales records and having her footprints put in the Walk of Fame in the Florida home office. Mable was an avid supporter to save the Vernal LDS Tabernacle, which later became the Vernal LDS Temple. She served for many years as Judge of Election. Mable is survived by her daughter, Betty Glenn Johnson (Ladell) of Orem; son, Richardson John Lewis( Marilyn) Johnson DDS of Fair Oaks, Calif.; brothers Ward Chapel. Marguerite was bom May 30, 1902 to T.H. Murray and Annie Reed Murray in Whiterocks. She graduated from high school and attended Sherman Institute in California. Marguerite loved to do bead work, needle point, crochet, and embroidery. She loved the mounHer tains and being outdoors. greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends. Maiguerite was a member of the Episcopal Church, St. Elizabeth in Whiterocks and Sl Pauls in Vernal. Marguerite is survived by her son, O.J.
