Joan C. Imlay received her Bachelor of Science degree June 4 from Utah State University, College of Family Life. Joan was one of ten students of the College of Family Life to graduate cum laude. She was also the recipient of the Club outstanding student award. This Is an award given to one senior student in each college of the University on the basis of scholarship, leadership and upon the Deans recommendation. At the present time Joan is living in Logan. B!w,IJtefof w1ibu dont have to look a champion TO ENTER THE JULY 4TH DOG SHOW Come one come all - enter the 4th of July dog show, scheduled to be held in the city park. All breeds and varieties are welcome, especially mutts. Dogs must be on a leash and must have a current 1983 license. They also must have all current vaccinations. Licenses are available at the show if you do not have one, they also are available at the City Hall during office hours. There is a $2.00 registration fee and the show will begin at 2:30 PM on the 4th of July in the North West corner of the city park. An Obedience demonstration will be given. Prizes and trophies will be given for grooming, tricks, obedience, and best costume. There will be separate judging for the mutts and purebreds, so each will be judged according to its own categories. This show is given in cooperation with animal control and Nicki Higgins, who has been involved in AKC showing and training for 10 years. Shirley McKay and Nina Yei will have a booth to raise money for the animal shelter. The newly sustained bishopric is Glenn Orgill, first councilor; Wade Bitner, Bishop; David Anderson, second councilor. 1MR Big Lizzie To Be At Library Big Lizzie, the science fiction western adventure, can now be checked out at the Tooele City Library. The adventure was the cover story for the July August issue of Space Gamer magazine. Copies of the magazine are on display at the library.
