It was our pleasure to meet Mr. Nehls at the recent National Editorial Association convention in Minneapolis, and he told us of visiting Utah and Nephi. From his column Sideline Observations in the issue of November 24, we reprint: drive After a le we came to the city of Nephi, population 3,000, where we put ... 31-mi- up for the night. Friendly City Although It was dark when we reached Nephi, we concluded that this was a prosperous agricultural city. Its motto Is The Friendly City. The people there no doubt believe in living up to that slogan, as we found the operators of the Bailey Motor Lodge at the north end of Main street, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Oldroyd, very pleasant. We took a unit, with each one of us having a separate room. The rate was very reasonable. After cleaning up a bit, we drove to the south end of Main street, where we ate at a new restaurant. Here again the same friendly atmosphere prevailed. What we remember most about the restaurant was the huge half of delicious cantaloupe, Utah grown, that was served to us. Last week we were in Minneapolis, Minn., attending the seventh-fift- h anniversary convention o fthe National Editorial association, we met Roy E. s Gibson, publisher of the at Nephi. We had a delightful visit with him. He in turn invited us to attend the national convention at Salt Lake City next June. reg Mrs. KEG says: Dont Judge a mans Serving in Korea . . With the First Cav.
