Security for the loan would be provided through the sale d revenue of a bond to the Board of Water non-vote- Resources. The bonds will be issued for $460,000, to be repaid to the Board of Water Resources over a period of 25 years, at percent interest. Water rates would rise primarily for secondary water users and for culinary water users outside of city limits. Secondary water rates are currently $6 per month for each connection. The Slick Rock program was established two years ago. Rates for commercial culinary use in the city will increase if monthly use exceeds 10,000 gallons a month. Actual water rates for residents on the culinary system are not likely to change under the new proposal, at least initially.
