Coming from California to visit at the home of Jeff and Cari Orr, were Caris parents Ralph and Joy of Concord and her brother Doug and his wife Julie and their boys of Antioch and Coni Cullimore also of Concord. The occasion they especially came for was the baptism of Cari Ann, the Orrs Cul-limo- re daughter. Getting in an early De- cember vacation were Phil and Diane Acton, they flew to Florida and went on a cruise to the Virgin Islands. They visited St. Thomas and St. Martin among other locations. James Christopher Palmer and family spent the Christmas holidays visiting his mother, Barbara P. Palmer. Chris is with the United States Intelligence Service and will go back to Monrovia, Liberia for another couple of years. He had orders for Somalia, got as far as Kenya and was sent back to the States. His wife Dixie and two sons will be at home in Orem. Sam and Leslie Anderson and three children of Tyler, Texas were here over the holidays visiting their parents, the Glen Shumways of Blanding and the Robert 0. Andersons of Monticello. Down from BYU were Heather Nielson and Jens and Trish Nielson. They were at home with their family the Preston Nielsons. Oliver and Barbara Harris had all of their family home for Christmas. From Salt Lake were Mike and Chrishawn Acton and daughter Abby, Eric and Terri Christensen and three children of Layton, Stefani and Sean Hun- - saker, daughter Camrie, and Alicia and Kip Hun-sakand two girls all er from Vernon, AZ. They joined with the rest of the family, Joaquin and Carla Harris, Keith and Jolene Kartchner and Doyle and Ileana Harris and their children along with Orrin. Im told that the walls were bulging with kin, food, noise and lots of love. Nelson and Penne Shumway and small son was here to visit his mother Erva Shumway for Christmas. Nelson is attending SUU in Cedar City. Also home from Cedar City for the Holidays were Monte and Annette Black and two daughters. Both Monte and Annette are attending SUU. Dr. Brent Johansens family left Christmas day to visit her parents, George and Bernice Dearing in Orem and they spent some time in Mt. They visited with his mother Ruby Bronson and other family members. Coming down from Provo were Noel and Jenny Bronson, they were here for the holidays with their parents, Stan and Maryann son. Kim and Terri Hunter and family of Cedar City, Ken and Kendra Moss and family of Sandy and Bryan and Trudi and girls from St. George were here to visit their parents over the New Year week. Eligible applicants for tree planting grants in- clude state and local government agencies and other organizations. Grantees Bron- provide minimum 45 percent of the total project cost and use small businesses to provide and plant the trees. The maximum amount of federal grant dollars per project is $5,000.
