Sharp, Nannette Slade, Eric Skouson, Brandt Miller, Sheila Black, and Ryan Nielson. The sextet took first place for 1-- A schools in state competition held in St. George. In addition to the team win, Miller received a gold medal in language literature and a bronze medal in fine arts in the scholastic division. In the varsity division, Black received a gold medal for her essay. MHS winning team, R.D. Sharp and Nannette competed in the honors division. Eric Skouson and Brandt Miller competed in the scholastic division. Sheila Black and Ryan Nielson competed in the varsity division. Miller, Melanie Palmer, Billy Dunow, Fighting drug abuse in Monticello In their continuing effort to combat the abuse of drugs in Monticello, the police department printed pamphlets describing the different kinds of drugs and the harm they do to Monticello High the body. students assisted in the effort by distributing the pamphlets. Working in pairs and trios, they co-chair- ed distributed the pamphlets. They then returned to Palmers w again to enjoy ice cream sundaes.
