The building is currently used for additional classrooms for San Juan High, but needs maintenance and repairs to be used effectively. Last week, school board members pondered uses for the building. During their discussion, moving the school district business office from Monticello to the A building in Blanding resurfaced. Some board members suggested that if the district office is to be moved at all, it should be moved even farther south, perhaps nearer a formal resolution to county commissioners in protest of the BLM San Juan Resource Management Plan.
