Lyman told the graduates and their guests how the greatest power of all comes from within. Most real defeat, Lyman said, is self defeat. His address was followed by a presentaion of the Sterling Scholars by Barbara J. Kuipers, program advisor. Kenneth P. MacDonald, counselor, presented scholarship recipients. The senior class gift of a plaque, to be set in the front lawn, was presented by Stacy Guymon and LaDawn Lovell, the vice president and the secretary of the senior class. Presentation of the 58 graduates was made by James T. Harris, 'principal, and accepted by Gail Glover, School Board member. The diplomas were Card of thanks I would like to thank every- one for their love and concern for me during my recent illness. To Dr. Goon, Dr. Warren and the staff at the hospital, I say a special thank you. The many flowers, cards and visits at the hospital and at my home are very much appreciated.
