High School Completion Diplomas were awarded to 24 students who finished school district requirements for graduation. General Education Diplomas, were awarded to 26 students who completed courses in English, math, science and social studies. According to Mark Maryboy, UNDC education director, the teamwork between the school district and UNDC has been one of the reasons for adult education success in the county. Through our combined efforts, we have certified and graduated 50 adult education students this year. This program will enable graduates to pursue higher education or seek employment on a more competitive level, Maryboy said.
