J. and Shirley Steffen, Ronnie Clayton and family of Ulysses, of Kansas, Peggy Humphries Camille Monticello, Davis, Verna Mosher, Robert AUen of Mont- 11 icello and Danniel Steffen of Hays, Kansas, Della Bronson was visited by Zoie, Stacy and Sundee Young and Mary Ann Phillips of Monticello, Betty Sitton of North Rim, Grand Canyon, Arizona, Ned and Laverda Jensen and Nora Christensen, Lucinda Willis received visits from Elsie Rasmussen. Lucinda went to Monticello for a birthday dinner for Clara Nielson they had Spanish food, cake and ice cream, Blanche Will was visited by Bud and Helen Adam from Moab and Roger and Sharon Hall and sons, Jeff and David, Louisa and Teek Lymans visitors were Jeannie Redd, who brought her new baby, Jamaica, Javlan Redd, Merlin Jones, Gene and Francell Blickenstaff, Brett and Lisa Lyman, Larry Lyman, Bob Redd and Nancy, Keith Redd, The Lyman and Lavae Redd. Lymans have also received many calls. Ida Markham caUed as did Pep Redd from Kansas and George Redd from Garden City, Kansas, also Madalyn Low. Neta Youngs visitors included Gene Hacking, Vivian Redd, Jeri Hanlon from Washington State, Beth Young from Lehi, Utah, Klea Palmer, Reva Rogers and Vernis Harris. $1.98 areribs $1.89 $1.43 Gordon and Lawrence Hawkins visited Laura, and Reta Bartell visited Dora Page. Mary Ann Jones was visited by Ellen Johnson, Phyllis Jones, Norma Patterson, Jim Harvey and daughter, Judy, and son, Chris, from southern California. :k Lean Meaty lb. Connie Brown, Afton Fisher and LaVern Tate visited with Teek and Louisa Lyman and Neta Peralene Mark and Young. Audrey Halliday and Mammie Adams visited with some of the $1.93 lb. residents. A. J. and Marie Redd visited NH 69p with Lelia Palmer, Louisa and Teek Lyman, Neta Young, Dora Lucinda Willis, Laura Page, Hawldns and Margaret Dalton. Deacon Joe Reed and Colleen Noonan came to visit the NH Residents. Irene Redd was visited by Francelle and Gene Blickenstaff they took her to the 24th parade in Monticello. MD If no answer 678-291- 6 John Hutchins and Calvin Tsosie of Blanding have been ar- rested and charged with burglary following the theft of approximately $200 worth of items from an apartment evening. last Thursday Occupants of the apartment were out of town it the time and the alleged theft was reported Friday morning by a neighbor who observed what was described by Blanding police as suspicious circumstances. Among the missing items were blankets, a radio and back pack. Burton Redd L. Burton Redd of El Paso, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 1. born April 29, 1912, in Douglas, Arizona, and came with his parents, L.B. and Irene He was H. Redd, to Blanding (then Grayson) in October of 1912. He grew up in Blanding, attend- ed public schools and served an LDS mission to Canada when he His father was 17 years old. passed away while he was in the mission field. He graduated from Utah State University with a commission in the United States Army. During his military career, he served in Germany, Laos and Korea, retiring as a colonel. He married Mary Berg on October 15, 1937. They are parents of Linda three children Millward, San Diego, California; Dr. L. Burton Redd, Tulare, California and Cynthia West, Dallas, Texas. He is also survived by his Irene H. Redd of mother, Blanding; three brothers, Kermit Redd of Paradox, Colorado, Keith Redd of Monticello and Lloyd Redd of Fort Worth, Texas; two sis- ters, Francelle Blickenstaff of Blanding and Jewell Adams of Monticello.
