Air Force. Upon successfully completing the Air Forces six weeks basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, Gerry will receive training in the Aircraft Armament Systems Field. He is a January 1982 graduate of San Juan High. He will be earning credits toward an associate degree in sciences through the applied Community College of the Air Force while attending basic and other Air Force technical training schools. LE ANN THOMAS, Monticello High School graduate, has been named to the fall quarter honor roll at Utah State University. A must carry 15 or more credit hours and earn a 3.5 or better grade point average to achieve honor. student Marine Cpl. CHRISTOPHER M. COOK, son of Rudy and Pat Cook of Bluff, has been promoted to his present rank while serving with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, California. Dr. Hank Christiansen, professor of the Civil Engineering Department, said that Zundel is the first recipient of the scholarship. Zundel, a 1975 graduate of Monticello High School, is the intergrated enrolled in master's degree program which allows students to take courses for both the bachelors and masters degrees concurrently. As a result, he completed his bachelors degree in December to receive his and expects masters degree in civil engineering in August. Zundel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Zundel, now of Cedar City.
