Show 1 16 A . 1972 Record 18, May Juan Registration for NELLS NEWSY Kindergarten By NELL DALTON The I was so busy with the auction last week that I didnt - s have time to nose around much for news - will try to reform next week. We would like to add the following people to our thank-yo- u list for donating items to our auction sale; the Ty Lewises, Maxine Webb, the Reed Wilsons, Gladys Wilson, the Gary Eppersons, the Hal Jensens, the DeMar Perkinses, the Pete Steeles, June Bailey, the John Rorings, the W. R. Bronsons ( a whole pickup load), the Grant Bronsons, the George Barrys, the Jimmie M. Forrests, the Blaine Jones, the Randy Stanards, the Ted Bronsons, the Devere Halls, the Dick Brodericks, the Ken Summers and the Harry Randalls. I hope I havent forgotten anyone - people were just wonderful and nearly everyone in town helped in one way or another on our cause. Heard on KUTA that Monti-cel- lo Texaco is being converted into an Easy Mart. There will be drive-u- p windows and it will be open 7 days a week for the convenience of tourists and forgetful local people (like me). It will be leased and managed by Bill and Lou Rogers. Eighteen women participated in the Ladies Golf Clinic set up, by President Janet Blake last Monday afternoon. Grant Leavitt conducted the course. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pehrson returned from May 13th where she Scottsdale, Arizona underwent surgery on her feet. She will be in a cast from the knees down for the next two weeks. While in the hospital she was visited by the Joe Foys, the Ralph Hunts and the Alvin Blacks, who all extended greetings to friends in Monti-cell- o. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ras- - -- j mussen are getting their home ready to move into. They are moving back to Monticello from Magna. Laura Leatham and son, Kevin, recently moved to Salt Lake where Kevin has enrolled in high school. Laura is working there. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Pehrson, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Johnson and son, Richey, and Mrs. Laura Pehrson celebrated Mothers Day and Richeys birthday Sunday with a fam- ily dinner. Miss Gail Dalton and two roommates Jody and Kathy were weekend visitors in Mon- Glass Installed LUXURIOUS LOOKING meeting. PANELING Parents should bring a birth certificate for their child. A child should be five years old before October 31st, to be able to attend kindergarten in 1972-7- 3. It is not necessary for the child to be present at registration. Parents are encouraged from Los Angeles, Mrs. Lillian Peterson from Mesa, Arizona, and Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Johnson from Manti. The ladies are all sisters of Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Stanford Johnson is a brother to Clement Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Clement Johnson left Tuesday morning for SL George, Utah, where they will meet Mrs. Arvilla Vogel, Door and Window Registration of potential kindergarten students for the 1972-7- 3 school year will be held at the Monticello Elementary School on May 23rd.
