Show 12 Montezuma 1972 News Williams, Madlocks, and three families from Farmington concluded the weekend with a picnic at Thompson Park near Durango, Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Bill McAlpine and Annette, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Felts and Eddie, spent the weekend camping at the Thompson Park Campground in Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Moore, and Tommy spent the weekend camping and fishing at Lake Jackson near Mancos, Colo- Record By RITA MADLOCK 18, place, girls - Jean Benally. A District Square Dance was held in Farmington, New Mexico, last Friday night. Attending from Blanding were Les and Clara Hellmund and from Montezuma Creek were Chuck and Barbara Carman, Toby and Wanda Williams, Jay and Sharman Enloe, Roger and Bobbye Bizzell, Doug and Rita Madlock, Mike and Jackie Scott, and Drew and Dona Williamson. Toby and Wanda Williams and children, Kathy and Mike, spent the weekend in Farming-to- n, Moms, we sincerely hope your Mothers Day turned out to be a good one. May Juan Wannie Carrs sister, Er-le- ne Wooten from Roswell, New Mexico, has been visiting with Wannie and Leo. The National Library Week San Poster Contest was completed last week. Mr. Greenhalgh of The the Bookmobile said that outstanding posters would be displayed on the bookmobile thru-o- ut the year. Mr. Larry Moore was the judge for the posters. All of the sixth graders who submitted posters are to be commended. Winners of the contest are; 1st place, boys -Ray Benally; 2nd place, boys - Tommy Horn; 1st place, girls - Julia John, and 2nd D D for Vsl!i rado. The Earnest Robinson family spent last Saturday in Farmington, New Mexico, on a business and pleasure trip. New Mexico, with Rex and Linda Hitchcock and children. Doug and Rita Madlock and children, Doug and Sandra, spent the weekend with the Kelly McLemees at the Kutz Plant near Farmington. Happy Birthday toMiss Sandra Anniece Madlock on her sixth birthday, Saturday, May 20th. Her mother also had a birthday on the 14th but she doesnt admit it.
