She was born Feb. 22, 1914 in Sunnyside, the daughter of John Henry and Alice Dimick Higgin-soShe married Elmo Lewis Jensen Dec. 29, 1932 in Helper. He died Oct. 4, 1978. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints and a lifelong resident of Sunnyside and East Carbon. She loved working in her garden and she loved flowers. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her family. Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter and spouse, Della Rae and Robert Stoker, East Carbon; her son, Elmo E. Jensen, East Carbon; a granddaughter and spouse, Diana Lee and Gail Christensen, Kaysville; three Kimberly, Myrlen Howard and Eric Roy Christensen, Kaysville. She was born Sept. 30, 1903 in Ephraim to John E. and Amelia Nielsen Paulsen. She married Charles Landvig Olsen Jan. 5, 1927 in the Manti LDS Temple. As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints, she served as an ordinance worker in the Manti LDS Temple for five years. Joan completed two LDS stake missions and served as a Primary worker. Joan was American Legion Auxiliary president and worked as Ephraim city treasurer for 25 years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Don (Aleth) Simmons of Manti; Mrs. Dan (Athlen) Keller of Price; 10 grandchildren and 29 She is also survived by a sister, Evelyn Labrum of Idaho; and a brother, Elwood Paulsen of Ephraim. She was preceded in death by her Salt Lake City; grandsons and their spouses, B.J. and Sharlene Harris, Salt Lake City; Chuck and Cheryl Harris, Salt Lake City; Troy Harris, Dallas, Texas; four A.J., Tera, Jennifer and Heather, Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Audrey; and son, Alma. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 1, at noon at Mitchell Chapel, where family will be one hour prior to services. Vigil, age 76, died Oct. 31, 1994 at his home after a courageous 0 Maxine Harris PRICE Maxine Stones Harris, age 83, died Oct. 28, 1994 in Price. She was born March 22, 1911 in Coalville, the daughter of Stephen Alma and Annie May Robinson Stones. She married Lyman Joseph Harris Sept. 21, 1929 in Coalville. He died Feb. 23, 1993. She was a resident of Price since 1931 and a member of the Coal Country Square Dancers and other state and national affiliations. She enjoyed her garden and fishing. A rock hound, Maxine and Lyman spent countless hours in the desert of southeastern Utah. Grandmother Harris enojoyed sharing her love with her family and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
