Show I MIL TOWN PRIG The smell of fresh popped popcorn, the swoop of the acrobat, the smiles of the clowns, the lumbering grace of the elephants there is nothing like a good circus to send you back to your childhood for a few carefree hours, nothing else offers the same nostalgic escape. Carnivals are too shrill, amusement parks are all day ordeals, plays are too demanding and even a good movie is flat by comparison. But a circus a circus comes to you, sets up in your town and provides a barrage of color, music and movement that is too much to take in all at once. A child's eyes blaze in wonderment and awe the are the , all the animals, big top? performers dazzling to the young and young at heart. The Carson & Barnes Circus is on the way. It is the last big traditional circus in America the big top more than a city block long, five rings stretching plus two additional performance areas, the hippodrome track and steel arena, circus music, and a tent full of clowns and extraordinary human and animal performers. It is so big that it moves every day visiting a new city or town every 24 hours is the only way the circus can attract sufficient fun seekers to pay its astronomical daily expense. The circus is invited to thousands of towns each year but our schedule only permits us to perform in 233, locations each season. Depending upon the size of the town, some communities can only expect to see the big show once every five or six years. An almost contingent of performers vast a of acrobatic and aerial array presents various tricks, including flying trapeze performers, wire walking, bareback riding, juggling, trampoline, archery, hair hang, perch pole and many other traditional circus acts. Even before Carson & Barnes became known for its outstanding array of human acts, it was recognized as the nation's 'big animal show'. It is also recognized as providing excellent care for the animals that are true members of this traditional circus family. nothing under the big top or in the arena can match the thrilling long mount of more than 20 elephants down the spacious front hippodrome track. In another display, the tent becomes a veritable sea of waving manes and flying tails as the famous Carson & Barnes Liberty Horses perform. Other beasts appearing during the spectacular extravaganza include camels, llamas and the big cats lions, tigers and a rare liger. The world renowned Carson & Barnes Circus is coming.
