Cody went two for four in Emery's win over Union while scoring one run, collecting three RBI, stealing a base, and being credited with a sacrifice. TedAnn was a member of the winning 400 and 1,600 meter relay teams and also took first in the high jump as the Lady Spartans won. Russ had a personal best in the high jump, going 6'2". He ran on the winning 1,600 meter relay team and also competed in the 110 hurdles. Notice is hereby given that the Southeastern Utah District Health Department will hold a public hearing to receive public comment on a proposal by the Southeastern Utah District Health Department to adopt health regulations for food establishments. This regulation will affect any public establishment which handles, stores, prepares or sells food. This regulation provides for the inspection, licensing of food establishments, enforcement of the regulations and establishment of a fee schedule for licensing. The hearing will be held May 14, 1990, at the Emery County Courthouse, second floor meeting room at 10 A.M. to 12 noon. A copy of the ordinance is available to the public at the Emeiy County Clerks Office or at the Southeastern Utah District Health Department at 45 East 100 South in Castle Dale. Forest Service conducts review, wants local input The National Forest is conducting a review to reaffirm which roads, trails and areas are needed for public use and administration of the National Forest. Uses to be considered include hiking, horseback, mountain bikes, cars, pickups, vehicles, vehicles, snowmobiles and Manti-LaS- al all-terra- in others. Forest administration includes access for fire control and resource management. trails not needed Roads and for public use andor admi- nistration will be restored to natural productivity. There are presently 2,600 miles of roads to road, from paved roads. There are approximately 800 miles of trails. To inform the public about the review, several hearings have been set by the Forest Service. Locally, meetings will be held at the Price office, ck high-standa- rd format. After the meetings, the Forest Service will select a group of individuals having varying interests to serve on district committees. The committees will be asked to assist with the review by helping develop criteria which can be used to make recommendations about each road, trail or area on the district and then using that criteria to decide the future use for each road, trail or area. The Forest Service notes that serving on a committee will require attendance at five or six meetings in the next seven to eight months to complete the review. Meetings would be spent looking at roads, trails and areas on maps and trying to determine future use. One or two field trips may be necessary.
