Teams from throughout Utah and western Colorado will compete for prizes worth $1,000. The entry fee if $130 per team, payable to Green River city by the April 23 entry deadline. There is a 32 team maximum. 1 uniforms and third place shorts. There is a 12 player award maximum per team and players must have played in at least two games to be eligible for receiving awards. If you have a team or you are a softball fan who would just like to watch some great softball then you should plan to relax and spend the weekend in Green River. I vehicle (OHV) Off-highw- ay courses are being offered at Green River and at the Huntington State Park. Courses have been scheduled through the summer. The course fee is $10. They will be conducted by an instructor certified by the Utah Division of Parks and Recreation. OHV education is required for all operators through 15 years of age who operate OHVs on public land. The course gives the rider instruc- tion and practice in different riding techniques. Participants will also learn about protective gear, riding responsibilities, environmental aware- - ness, survival and emergencies related to the use of OHVs. CASTLE DALE Union scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take a 6 lead and then held Emery scoreless in the bottom of the inning to claim the junior varsity win in Region 7 action last Tuesday.
