Personally they can keep their laws and do whatever with them because I have no intentions of ever using them. However, when you travel down by Clawson and notice a family with six children living in a tent and truck cab, you cant help but become involved. What rights do property owners really have in this state? What good is this alkali land and no Utah resident owns 120 acres and 66 water shares and still cant get a water hook - up, I say something needs checking into. Shes not only fighting for her rights, but if she wins this case, every other property owner will benefit. of us had met before, and none of us had children in elementary school. We was told to judge the cakes on the students in own work decorating and using the Halloween theme. We felt we judged them fair and we picked four winners instead of three. They were the following numbers: 1st, number 13; 2nd, number 7; 3rd, number 30; 4th, number 8. So how about some support for her. Let your city commissioners and zoning administrator know how you really feel about these laws, which were written in Provo and have little effect on this remote area. All support would be appreciated. Wood-burnin- wood-burni- ng Headache Beginning with this article, I will begin a five part series on the various types of headaches. Todays article will provide some general information and will discuss the causes of head pain. Headache is one of the most common symptoms of an illness. It is totally a subjective complaint. Many types of headaches must be differentiated solely on the basis of the history and complaints. There may be no abnormal physical findings in some cases of head pain. There is no way to precisely measure the degree and severity of the pain. There is no way to substantiate whether or not a person is experiencing a headache. It is a complaint that must be accepted will as true while the work-u- p attempt to identify the cause of the problem. The clinical implications of the complaint of head pain may vary widely. It may herald the onset of a life threatening problem such as a brain tumor or a stroke, or it may simply be the end result of a stressful day at the office or with the kids. The headache may be so severe that total incapacitation occurs, yet not be life threatening. Similarly, it may be so mild as to - only be annoying yet it may be life threatening. Because of the common nature of the problem and at the same time the wide spectrum of possibilities, the evaluation of a patient with a headache may involve a lot of time and special tests. The physician in attempting to determine the cause of a headache must consider the nature of the pain, its location, the pattern of its onset, its frequency, duration, variations in the intensity, family history, relation to menstrual period, the presence or absence of associated signs and symptoms, the presence of emotional stress; anxiety, apprehension, concern, worry,"' anger, hostility and depression. Causes of Head Pain The sites of origin of the head pain can be divided into those outside the skull and those inside the skull. Almost all of the structures outside of the skull are able to produce pain. More than 90 percent of all headaches result from the dilation and distension of the blood vessels of the scalp or face from the increased spasm and tone of the muscles of the scalp. Other causfe of pain outside of the skull may arise from disorders of the nose, sinuses, eyes, teeth and ears. All of these causes usually reveal themselves by readily identifiable evidence of the specific disease, such as an infection in the nose, throat or ear, cavities of the teeth or redness of the eye. In addition, such things as injury or a tumor involving the structures of the face may cause head pain as well. The structures inside the skull that are pain sensitive are limited to the veins and nerves arising at the base of the brain. The skull bone itself, the membranes surrounding the brain and the blood vessels surrounding the brain are not sensitive to pain. There may mechanisms be several in the production of the pain and structures inside the skull. These include the stretching or pressure on veins of the arteries at the base of the brain; dilation and distension of the arteries, inflammation and irritation of these structures and also direct pressure by tumor of the brain on the pain sensitive nerves.
