Page 9 Thnes-lndepende- nt Native American Student from southeaatem Utah will be attending the Expanded Indian Nations Outreach Program at the University of Utah in November. If is a collaborative effort with Eastern Utah Area Health Education Center and the University School of Medicine, Office of Diversity and Community Outreach. The Native American high school studenta from eastern Utah get a brief experience as college studenta staying on campus three day three different times a years, Sept., Nov. and April. Student! dissecting a cow s heart. They learn through hands on projects, job shadowing medical specialists and receive information on applying to college and financial aid. Plus there bowling, nights, games, movies and dances.
