In an interview, Lowe 6aid she learned on Oct. 26 that she must undergo treatment for a previously undiagnosed medical condition, and has been advised by her physician that the treatment will be difficult and will last at least one year. She is scheduled to begin treatment within two months. My doctor is saying T m going to need all my resources to deal with this treatment, Lowe said. The illness is very serious and it is going to need my full attention. Lowe said the decision to withdraw from j step closer to reality last week as the Moab City Planning and Zoning Commission approved plana for parking at Millers Shopping Center on south Main Street. Roxanne Lawler, a partner in the development with her husband Michael Lawler and southern Colorado business owner Larry Robuck, said Tuesday that remodeling work will begin next week. The new grocery story will be approximately 26,000 square feet in size and will include retail space currently occupied by the Chili Pepper bike shop and Moab Outdoors. Both businesses have been offered alternative space in the shopping center where Grand Mart was located, but Lawler 6aid she doesnt yet know whether either will 6tay in that location. She said if the remodeling goes as planned, the grocery store will open next spring.
