The classes are tailored as much as possible to the needs of those attending so that while one person is learning how to find medical information, ar other might be looking at live cameras showing animals in the wild. Emphasis in the classes is on learning how to be a good web consumer by finding reliable sources of information. The introductory session will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6 at e-m- ail Attendees will then be separated into groups by skill level (computer beginners in one class and those with some skills in another). These groups will meet on the following three Tuesdays (Nov. 13, 20 and Dec. 4). Each weekly class has no more than 8 students using 6 computers and is 1.5 hours in length. The Grand County Library has 6 computer terminals that access the Internet. These computers are available for use by any li 11:30 a.m. class for 2001 brary patron at no cost during library hours. During these Tuesday classes, the computers are reserved for those attending Internet classes. Since class space is limited, a $5 donation to Friends of the Library is asked to reserve a spot in the class. Call or stop by the library to Lave your name placed on the November list. Ginny Carlson will continue to teach these classes. She is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer, who enjoys working with beginners. NOW OPEN!
