I like the size of our school, the teachers know by name and you know everyone in your school." Osusky was nominated because, as the teachers put it, Bobby is an excellent student academicaMy and gets along with all other students, but what I notice most is the respect he extends to teachers and other students. His other favorite activity at school is hanging out and taking laps with Jake Davis and Brad Ankrum at lunch." He would also like to see the school have an open campus. Osusky likes Moab because is it so beautiful and unique, but he plans to leave Moab and go to college. After a year or two of college he will decide what he wants to do for a career. The Student of the Month program is sponsored by the local Elks Lodge under the direction of Val Maughan. The high father-and-so- n school coordinator is Joan Gough. The students are also recognized by the Rotary Club and Grand County School District Board of Education. The program was started by the Elks to recog- nize students who were outstanding in the areas of character, leadership, service, citizenship and scholastic performance.
