Show THE SALT LAKE TRIBUNE, SUNDAT" MORNING, SEPTEMBER 14, 13 Ring Leaves Long Island to Avoid Embarrassment of Meeting Prince By KINO LABDNXB. To the editor- I realise that this letter' will be kind of heart rendering for a whole lot of "my admires, namely that I ain't been on hand to report the alleged nfight or the world ever is going serious otween to play It. But after a careful conversation between mysif and he whom I laughingly call my employer, we decided it would be best for me to get off Long Island for a wile and leave this Island to the prince of Wales and me to go to some other Island like the British laiea so as to not have no rivalry for a wile. It was a heart breaker to me a 1 ain't only missed one world serious realize It will be a since 1S06 and heart breaker to ray admires who can hardily wait to see what I will half to say In regards to royalty arid tte funny part of H ts that I ain't yet Wills-Firp- I o 1 met the Prince as I have, been keeping steadily out of his way because If I did meet him I would not know whether to say hello Eddie or Albert If I said Eddie I would cr prince. think I was talking to Eddie Guest was If it and Albert, why that Is our driver's name and if I said Prince I would feel like I was calling a dog. All In all It looks like It would be better for we 1 boys to" be separated for a wile and as I say that is one reason why I am leavingThough as a matter of fact I and the prirfce could have a great time together because suppose ws went to some place where they dance and a ooupie of gals recognized either him or I, why they would, come up to our table and they would want to dance and I would s4y I can't dance, so he would dance wtth the first one wile I en- tertained the second on with cha- fob V v o rades ed witty conversation and then the prince would come back to the table with the first one and vice ' BEAVER TO CEDAR .versa. PRINCE'S MISTAKE. Anyway It has been decided In conference that I better get off of Long Island and leave It to Albert Edward alone as 1 have had enough honors but anyway I been reading the stories In regards to the' prince and one of the lady fashion writers says that redressed, one day In white trousers and a brown coat and that made a hit with me as all I 'have got to wear with my white trousers Is a brown coat or else go bare footed. It was lso reported by this here lady fashion writer that tne prince wore brown suede shoes with his white 'rotrserr and brown coat and carried a cane. .Well I have got brown shoes though I don't know if they are "suede or not though we have hsd a couple of suedes working for us off and on for many a yr, but in regards to carrying a cane, why I have got one (1) fad ankle and the oiher It. is flat footed but I ain't never carried a cane and would rot know what to do with It If it comes to a pinch and suppose I and the prince got Into a argument and come to blows I would not dast hit him with a cane as reople would say I was taking a advantage and why not fight with' my fists? However I figure that I and the prince has got the same temperament and the both of us wants to be left alone and where the prince makes his big mistake Is continuing to brag that ho is a good dancer and that if why I quit dancing seven years go ts so the. gals would not bother rae. WORLD SERIES. . . Kow I know that a good many of bemy admrles is going to be sore cause I wonit be- - here to give there advance dope in regards to fhe world serious. Well when my employer and decided to not stay here for mytlf I whv did not know :t It waa goIt, ing to be between the Yankees and Giants again or St. Louis vs. Pitts, burg or Detroit or Washington vs. the Giants and I dont know yet. But my prediction Is that the Giants If they win the National league championship will either win or loose vs. their American league oppts. I don't believe theys any chance for a tie. I would bate to be the mgr. of either team. "Where are you going?" Is a question often asked of me since I decided to go. "Why," I reply, "to France, Spain. Holland and Germany. ' Can you speak any England." of those languages?" is their Question No answer. Anyway boys I win admit that I can't compete "vithI t!e prince and' w hen he is sfl;hops out of the country we will all try to get back to normalcy.
