Fike of Copperton and other relatives in the area. Prior to their departure, Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi entertained at their home at a smorgasbord for them. Other guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fike and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Doug-las Tall. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Apo-stol Sr. of Midvale left Wednesday on a two months visit to Greece, PIERIAN CLUB TO MEET TONITE Pierian Club of Wet Jordan i holding their annual summer social so-cial for member and partner at Maxfield Lodge in Big Cottonwood Canyon tonight, Friday, at 7:30 p.m. Dinner and dancing will be enjoyed. On the committee arranging arrang-ing the party are Mr. David Reynold, Rey-nold, Mr. Royal Spratling, Mr. Dale Bateman, Mrs. Roy Nelson and Mrs. Jack Smith. Mr. and Mrs .Leon Mitchell, Mrs. Susan Bills and children and Mr. and Mrs. Chick Mitchell all of Bluff-dale Bluff-dale were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt L. Nielson and family Saturday evening. Mrs. Maurine Nielson and daughters, dau-ghters, Carol and Mrs. Pat Meenen of Bingham, Mrs. Maybello Torgen-sen Torgen-sen of Monroe and Mrs. Laurel Nielson of Richfield went to Cedar City last Thursday to see Derald in Taming of the Shrew. Spending the afternoon and dinner din-ner guests Sunday atthe home of Mrs. Helen Sullenger of Midvale were Mr. and Mrs. Julian Gieger of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and family of Roosevelt spent last week end visiting with Mr. Edwards' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Boren of Midvale and other relatives. Mrs. Eugene Morris of Midvale entertained at dinner Wednesday evening for Mrs. W. S. Jones, Mrs. Howard Phelps, Mrs. Aurilu Ra-mussen Ra-mussen and Mrs. L. W. Nielsen. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Boren, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Apostol and Mr. and Mrs. George Panos spent last Sunday at Patio Springs in Ogden. Mrs. Nellie Chester was hostess Wednesday afternoon to Martha Circle at the Doll House in Salt Lake City. Twenty members were present. A lovely luncheon was enjoyed following which a business meeting was held and bridge was played. Prize were won by Mr. Neva Jensen, first; Mrs. Berenice Willie, second: Mrs. Catherine len- kins, consolation, and Mrs. Alta Boyd, bingo. Other members attending at-tending were Mrs. Mary Jo Rub-right, Rub-right, Mrs. Pearl Rasmussen, Mrs. Helen Sullenger, Mrs. Ida Bolman, Mr. Charlotte Murano, Mrs. Edith Johnson, Mrs. Myra Larick, Mrs. Irene Frazicr, Mrs. Kay Sonne, Mrs. Rosella Rauer, Mrs. Margaret Du-Bois, Du-Bois, Mrs. Louise Bailey, Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie Kemp, Mrs. Myrtle Thomas and Mrs. Bessie West. Mrsi Johnson will be hostess to the next Circle meeting at the home of her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Willie, in Lark on Aug. I. Visitors and dinner guests Tuesday Tues-day of Mrs. Helen Sullenger and family of Midvale were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Johnson and son, Tommy, from Moses Lake, Wash, and Mr. and Mrs. John Barrett. Mrs. Johnson is a niece of Mrs. Sullenger. Leaving last Saturday for their home in Montebello, Calif., were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Fike and children, chil-dren, Debbie, David and Curt.
