Show sculptor plans to have more than 100 life-size dinosaurs on display "in their natural habitat" on an adjacent tract of land. Next stop on the tour is the world - famous Timpanogo Cave National Monument in American Fork Canyon. This huge cavern, with its breath-taking limestone formations, is reached by a mile and a half long, zig-zagging foot trail maintained by the National Park Service. The hike is invigorating and the beauty of the cave moke it well worth the effort. The government govern-ment provides guided tours. Continuing over the Alpine Loop one pasaea beneath towering Mt. Timpanogoa which climbs high a-bove a-bove other peaks in the Wasatch range. The road winds through cool pine and aspen grovea, and there are ample picnic facilities along the way. At Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon, viaitora can ride the recently re-cently completed Skyride tramway which climbs up a 45 degree cable to a platform 1,220 feet above the canyon floor. As outlined by D. James Cannon, director of the Utah Tourist and Publicity Council, the proposed tour begins at Draper, Salt Lake County, on U.S. Highway 91, veers east on State Highway 60 just south of the Point of the Mountain and continues over the famous Alpine Scenic Loop Highway, thru Provo Canyon, Heber, past Rock-port Rock-port Lake, Echo Dam and finally through Henefer and down the Old Pioneer Trail back to Salt Lake City. "Dinosaur World" is the first stop on the tour. This attraction is on the east side of Highway 91 near the Draper crossroads. It features fea-tures seven life-size dinosaur replicas rep-licas sculptured in fiber glaaa by dropped by the greenery of verdant verd-ant Heber Valley. From Heber you can proceed to Waaatch Mountain State Park, tra- vel to the mining town of Park City and probe its intriguing past, boat and water-ski at Rockport State Park, fish in nearby rivers and streams or continue on the tour. At Henefer you can take a side trip to visit Devils Slide, strange formation of nature on Interstate Highway 80. The highway passes over Deer Creek Dam and the blue water of the reservoir comes into view, back Elbert Porter, one-time University of Utah professor of sculpture. These great prehistoric lizards, including in-cluding a gigantic, horned Tricer-atops, Tricer-atops, are so realistic that even modern-day animals shy away. Inside a nearby quonsut hut, visitors vis-itors may see Mr. Porter at work on his next creation, a massive, 60 foot long Diplodocus which stands nearly 2 5 -feet high.
