Team members include OraLynn Means, Bonnie Melo, Margo Beeson, Jacque Woodard and Barbara Moore. City bowling tourney winners announced The 22nd annual Moab Womens City Bowling Tournament was held at the Moab Lanes Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13 and 14, with competition starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday. A total of 227 women competed for $854 prize money. Crystal was awarded to the first place winners in all divisions, instead of trophies. The first place team was "The Whole Fam Damily with a total of 3081 ; the team members were OraLynn Means, Bonnie Melo, Margo Beeson, Jacque Woodard, and Barbara Moore. First place in doubles went to Marder Georgia and Barbara Twichell, with at 1299 series. Back in March, Georgia and Barbara went to Reno, Nevada to bowl in the Miller Highlight open, where they placed 10th in the nation. At this time they are in the lead here in Moab for the Miller Highlight again this year. Charme McCandless dominated the entire tournament by winning the singles competition with a 698 series, and winning the All Events Handicapped with a total of 1919. Pilar Sanchez won All Events Scratch by knocking down 1684 pins. This years Moab Womens Bowling Association officers are President Linda Leach, 1st Vice Pres. Lorene McCoy, 2nd Vice Pres.
