Show lllliil v o tsgjoj By LYN CONNELLY DON'T you often wonder what motivates certain decisions by the TV big-wigs in the matter of timing? For Instance, there are so many western and other type of violence early In the evening, just before the kiddles go to bed . . . Then along comes a natural for kids like "Mr. Ed" and it's classified as prime time for adults only . . . Howcum? We allowed our youngster to stay up late one week during spring vacation vaca-tion and we've been pestered ever since to see "Mr. Ed," which is one of the more clever shows to debut this season. Like "The Flintstones," "Mr. Ed" is a good family show, enjoyed en-joyed by both adults and children . . . Fortunately, "The Flint-stones" Flint-stones" is on at a reasonable hour, but not so the lovable talking horse and we wish something could be done to rectify the situation situa-tion . . . Since the show switches networks next fall from NBC to ABC it's just possible that someone some-one at ABC is bright enough to figure out that it belongs in an earlier time slot . . . |
