Show Francis Poulenc's "Gloria In G Major for Soprano, Chorus and Orchestra," which was given its world recording premiere by Angel An-gel Records on May 1st, has been judged the best choral work of 1960-61 by the Music Critics Circle of New York ... In awarding its prizes this year, the Music Critics Circle considered the best new works performed during aa extended ex-tended period that included all of 1960 and th first four and a half months of 1961.
