Dr. John L Knudsen and daughters, daugh-ters, Karen, Krista and Kathy from LI Paso, Texas, arrived last Sunday to visit until Saturday with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer V. Knudsen. Knud-sen. Mr. and Mrs.- Elmer V. Knudsen, Dr. John E. Knudsen and daughters and Dee Christensen. visited in Fair-view Fair-view and Mt. Pleasant Memorial Day. Memorial Day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson John-son and family, Bobbie Lee and Johnny, were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Gray and daughters, Ellen, Valerie and Dorothy and Mrs. Alva Cray of Willard and Claudia Butterfield of West Jordan. Johnny Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Johnson, has been selected select-ed to piny in the 17th annual Utah All-American Boys' Baseball game at Otjden on Monday, June 5. Johnny, John-ny, representing Bingham High School in the game, will play with the South All Stars. Mrs. Manuel Susaeta and daughter, daugh-ter, Maraie Kay. visited over the Memorial Day week end with her mother, Mrs. Hanld Hutchinson of Dragerton. Margie Kay stayed to spend about a month with her grand mother. Mrs. Elmer V. Knudsen entertained enter-tained at a birthday luncheon last Saturday honoring the birthdays of Mrs. Dahrl Davis and Mrs. Clinton Poulsen. Other guests were Mrs. Odell Peterson, Mrs. P. O. Loveless, Love-less, Mrs. Minerva Smith, Mrs. B. D. Ben- 'on and Mrs. T. W. Rogers. Mrs. Verio Kendrick was hostess to her bridge club Wednesday evening. ev-ening. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. A. D. Bentley, first; Mrs. Wally Svenson, second; and Mrs. Jack Householder Jr., consolation. Mrs. Dean Lipsey's birthday was also celebrated and she was presented a lovely gift from the club. Shower caps were given as favors. Delicious late refreshments were served by the hostess. Enjoying a patio supper Tuesday at the Wn. D. Kidd residence were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Ablett, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Greene and Suzanne, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Taylor and children, child-ren, Lori, Natalie and John E., of White City and M. M. Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christensen and Kent attended a birthday dinner din-ner for their son, Bruce Christensen Christen-sen of Kearns Wednesday. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. James Brpgan and son, Danny, and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Mayne of Kearns. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen attended a farewell for their nephew neph-ew in Orem Sunday evening. He is leaving on a mission to Finland. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Wright were Mr. and Mrs. Don Wright and Mrs. Burt of Salt Lake City. Billy, Denny and Bobby Forman of Herriman spent the week end with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Ray. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Peterson and sons, Bobby and Rodney, of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Cheever of Granger and Mr. and Mrs. William Rager, and children, Danny, enny, Rocbelle and Reanon of West Jordan enjoyed dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs.v Henry I A. Cheever Sunday. Natalie Taylor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Taylor of White City is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Kidd and Ruth Claire. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Christensen visited Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Elmo Hunter of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Hardman and daughter, Deborah, attended the chuck wagon breakfast Tuesday morning at Herriman and later motored mo-tored to Provo and Salem. In Salem they enjoyed dinner with Mrs. Hardman' sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. George Swanson and family. fa-mily. Mrs. Ben McAllister and daughter, daugh-ter, Virginia, visited with Mr. and Mrs. John S. Arnold and family of Granger " Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harker ond Paul, Mrs. Minnie Harker and Miss Erma Harker enjoyed a picnic lunch in Middle Canyon Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell enjoyed en-joyed dinner Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Cowdell of Sandy. Mr. and Mrs. Verio Kendrick, Mrs. Mabel Stoddart and Mrs. Wally Swenson attended the anti-commu. nist seminar at Highland High last Monday evening. This meeting was the second in a series of four. It is very interesting and informative and is open to the public the next two Monday evenings. Al Ablett returned home Sunday after spending a week in Rock Springs and Rawlins, Wyo., and Canon City and Denver, Colo, seeing see-ing high school baseball tournaments tourna-ments and scouting for the N. Y. Giants. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen and daughter, Lois, visited Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Wendal Hand and daughter, Lori, of Salt Lake City. Tuesday, Eugene Wright and his fiancee Miss Judy Jones of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Wright enjoyed a picnic at Saratoga. Sara-toga. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Diederich and Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Cheever Cheev-er attended the chuck wagon break, fast at Herriman Tuesday morning. Later the Cheevers motored to Fairview and spent the day. Mr. and Mrs. Ben McAllister visited vis-ited in Salt Lake City Tuesday with his sister, Miss Luella McAllister. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. William Ablett and Mr. and Mrs. Miles Gay-thwaite Gay-thwaite attended the open house of the new Masonic building in Midvale and afteriwards enjoyed dinner and a show in Salt Lake. Mrs. Lillian Jensen, Mrs. Albert J. Ray and Billy, Denny and Bobby Forman visited with Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Spencer in American Fork orial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Marion Mar-ion Cowdell and children, Sherlenc, Kathy, Terri and Jed of White City, Mr. and Mrs. W. The Primary sponsored a park party Wednesday for all of the primary pri-mary children. The officers furnished furnish-ed the drinks for hem and everyone every-one brought sack lunches. A delight ful time was had by all. Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sadler enjoyed en-joyed dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ferris Fitzgerald and children chil-dren of Draper Monday, May 29. The occasion honored Mr. Sadler's birthday anniversary. Tueday Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cowdell Cow-dell and Mrs. Norma Jones and son Denny of Kearns visited in Sandy with Mr. Cowdell's mother. Mm.
