Show THE HERALD, Provo, Utah, 10, 1989 Sunday, September Page, D3 LPS Church &imnynes Las Vegas Temple open house The First Presidency of The Oiurch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Da- y Saints has announced the dates for the public open house and the private dedicatory services at the nwly completed temple in Las 13-1- 5. tory services will be conducted Dec. Following its dedication, it will be used exclusively by faithful members of the Church for marriages, baptisms and other sacred ordinances. ' The temple is situated in an eastside Las Vegas residential area on the slope of Sunrise Mountain. Vegas, Nev. The open house is scheduled lor Thursday, Nov. 16, through Saturday, Dec. 9, and 11 separate dedica16-1- 8. temple in the Church. The most recently completed temple is in the Portland, Ore., suburb of Lake Oswego and was dedicated on Aug. 19. The exterior of the Las Vegas Temple is white cast stone with copper trim and a copper roof. The total floor space of the building is approximately 60,000 square feet.
