Commission Blasts U of U Professor - The SALT LAKE CITY (AP) San Juan County Commission has asked the University of Utah to review activities of a law professor who represents several local conservation groups. The commissioners said it is unusual that Professor William J. Lockhart can find the time to participate in public hearings on environmental issues, including opposition to building a nuclear waste dump in San Juan County, and still find time to teach. Personal involvement in impor- tant environmental issues significantly strengthens his ability to teach his students about the practices of federal agencies and regulation of natural resources, Irwin Altman, vice president of academ- h ic affairs at the university said. w ';.L I y s "In Lockhart's case, his area of specialty is environmental law. If he's participating in projects involving environmental law, that's relevant. ... It can add to a faculty member's skills and knowledge," Altman explained. comes with troc Includes '119.95 Complete electronics package for the convenient sprinkler system available! timer and 6 electronic valves.
