We feel it appropriate that such a period be set aside and that the significant role of the family in our society be emphasized. After all, the family is America's most sacred institution. In fact, it is the most fundamental institution in any civilized society "We believe traditional family values must be restored, safeguarded and strengthened. We oppose those immoral elements of our society which contribute to the disintegration of the family. We encourage members of the church and our fellow citizens everywhere to ponder the great good that comes from strong families, for each of us is in some way the product of his family. "Let parents everywhere be worthy models and give the time necessary to become close to their children. Let children honor and respect their parents and may that respect be returned. Let us all pay particular attention to the older members of our those whose wisdom and experience can families be priceless to younger generations. Let all family members participate together in daily prayer and in recreational, cultural and spiritual pursuits, in order 1) SHIRLEY ANN Matt Biljanic asked the supreme court to overturn a Fourth District court ruling that upheld the commission's action. Biljanic claimed the commission refused to renew were legitimate resasons for the commission to refuse to renew the Silver Dollar's beer license. And he said the commission held two hearings on the matter after the application for renewal was denied. The supreme court took the case under advisement. Although the lounge does not have a beer license, a restraining order issued by the high court allows it to continue to sell beer at least until the case is settled.
