Show LARK NEWS Marilyn Dalley, PR 4-2789 Lark and United States Mines of Uu ted States Smelting Refilling and Mining Company will be shut down for the annual summer vacation vaca-tion starting Monday, July II, it is reported. Mis. Vernon Hopkins and children, child-ren, Judy, JoAnn end Mike visited with M. and Mrs. Mike Davidson of Magna Tuesday. M lton Morley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Morley, of California, spent several days last week visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moul-ton Moul-ton and family. He came Wednesday Wednes-day of lat veek and left Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler and son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert V. Peterson of Murray went to see U. of U.'s summer festival show "Annie Get Your Gun" last Friday night. Mrs. Vernon Hopkins and children, child-ren, Judy, M ke and JoAnn visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Barnes Barn-es of Midvale. Judy llrnsen has been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Don Hansen and Mrs. Rachel Hartley of Sanpete. She left on June 25 and returned home July 4. A family get-together on Mrs. Uettia Peterson' family ide was enjoyed Wednesday in Provo Canyon. Can-yon. 26 were in attendance. There will be no Lark Ward Primary Pri-mary held until July 27, it was announced an-nounced this week. Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalley and family were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nealley returned re-turned SundAy from a week's vacation vaca-tion in Nevada and Idaho where they visited friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hopkins and family, Ronald, Judy, Mike and JoAnn, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Edwards Ed-wards and children, Connie, Linda, Dewey and Dave, and lvr. and Mrs. Virgil Rostron enjoyed an overnight over-night camp out in Butterfield Canyon. Can-yon. They left Sunday and came home Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Allinson and family and Larry and Gary Gran enjoyed the Fourth of July at Liberty Park. Clyde Cillam left for Eureka, Nev., where he is presently working, work-ing, June 28. He will be gone about a month. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Foist and daughters, Judy and Karen, returned return-ed last Saturday from a week's vacation va-cation in the Uintah's where they enjoyed fishing and relaxation. Visiting with relatives and friends in Lark this week are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gray and sons, Larry and Cary, from Oakland, Calif. They I arrived July I st and will leave Fr day (today). Mr. Gray ia a daughter daugh-ter of Mr. Uettia Peterson, Robyn and Kent Peterson are staying with their grandparent, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bigler, while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert V. Peterson are attending a convention con-vention at Boulder, Colo. The youngsters came last Saturday and will be here about 10 days. July 4th guest of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalley and family were Capt. and Mrs. J. Golden Poulaen and daughter, Renae, of Novato, Calif. Mr. and Mr. Earl Bc'gler and grandchildren, Robyn and Kent Pe- terson, enjoyed the Fourth of July by watching the parade in Murray and from there went to Midway where they enjoyed dinner with Mr. Virginia Bigler and family. Is Mr. and Mr. Morris Covington and daughter, Jackie, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mr. Earl Bigler and grandchildren, Robyn and Kent Peterson, Pe-terson, enjoyed dinner Sunday with Mr. Martha Newell of Sandy. Bobby Gressmen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Gressmen of Murray, stayed with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gressmen, from Sunday to Friday (today). Mr. and Mr. Zone Dumont and family of Midvale, Mr. and Mr. Joa Dumont, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whitmoro and Mr. and Mr. Leonard Leon-ard Miller spent Sunday and Monday, Mon-day, July 3-4, fishing and camping at Scofitld Reservoir, after which Mr. and Mr. Miller helped Kevin Miller, on of Mr. and Mr. Ned Miller, celebrate hi fourth birthday birth-day in Midvt.Ie Monday evening. |
